Satan

After I read Max Wertheimer’s “From Rabbinism to Christ” and a booklet about his journey through Christian Science to Y’shua HaMassiach ( NB: NOT a conversion to yet another religion, but instead intimate communion with YHVH through shed blood and torn flesh of Y’shua HaMassiach who died for our sins, was buried and rose again, nevermore to die ) I noticed that there was a reference to another booklet, titled “SATAN”.
I began searching the Internet and eventually entered into correspondence with Pastor Stephen Pribble of Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church who granted me the opportunity to work on an incompleted manuscript by the late Pastor Wertheimer.
What amazed me was this was the first book I had read where an author had decided to use only one sourse of information. Yes, you guessed it, …the Byblos.

Considering the wealth of scholarship and textual improvement since the early 1900’s, I have considered writing my own book on this topic, but for now here is what a guy who was once a strong defender of Judaism against Christianity and caught up in the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy (Christian Science), who after coming to abundance in Y’shua and thereafter spent many years teaching others the unsearchable riches which YHVH has for you in Y’shua:

FOREWORD

I have delivered my lectures on Satan in various American and Canadian cities, and wherever they were heard, the request usually came to me: “Have you these studies in print?” I have always had to say: “They are all out of print.” Years have come and gone without reprinting these studies. It is at the unanimous request of those encouraging people that I herewith give to the Christian reading public a second edition, enlarged and revised.

I pray that the Holy Spirit may use this exposition for edification and blessing – that our Adorable Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified thereby, and our Heavenly Father’s Name be hallowed!

Before beginning this subject let me state:-

First, ‘Satan is not that ridiculous caricature with two horns, a cloven foot, pitch fork and forked tail – that is a fake – that fellow never existed. Satan is a mighty reality of the Scriptures, a real personality who knows, feels, and wills.’

The second point I would have you consider is this: ‘Satan has never been in Hell, he is not in Hell now, and it will be a considerable time before he gets there.’

Third: This being is so exalted in rank that we are told in the Epistle to Jude, verse 9, that “Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.”
