Update: Essential reads!
Ag, no man, I think it’s probably better just to get on with practicing and in my spare time read some of the books that have now reached the ceiling and beyond. 
I think I shall begin with Ben’s book NT History ~ Narrative Account and then have a go at Bruce Metzger and Bart D. Ehrman’s ~ The New Testament ~ “It’s Transmission, Corruption and Restoration” ~ 4th Edition, while juggling my current reading list. Gulp! My bad, I have to get on with work.
