About 24 weeks ago I placed an advert on a site called ‘Join my Band’ and after responding to two adverts I was approached by a member of an unnamed band. Suddenly, I found myself in a room filled with like minded blues-rockers and for the audition I played an acoustic version of ‘Take This Hat’ (featured on my debut album – ‘ERIC SAWYER’ – 2011)
They were looking for a vocalist and so began the first of twenty-four weeks of song choosing, set listing and rehearsals with ‘SMOKE STACK LIGHTNING’ (click here : ‘History’ to continue ‘The Journey’)
