Mom’s Taxi is number 1 on ReverbNation Norwich, UK Folk Charts!

What a nice surprise this is. :)

Mom's Taxi reaches number 1 (17.11.2011) Norwich, UK Folk Charts at ReverbNation

I’ve been a member of ReverbNation for quite some time now and I’ve enjoyed being in the top ten with quite a few of my songs. When A Women Cries made it to third place in the local rock charts for Norwich, UK and And The Summertime reached number 9.
Mom’s Taxi’s always been one of my favourites for set lists, but this was really a nice surprise and seeing as I’ve never had a number one slot before, but got pretty close to it in 1998 when Billy The Kid got ousted by Bon Jovi on the Peoplesound charts. I have no idea why such a big bands punters needed to put it on what was meant to be a site for promoting indies, but they did. Water under the bridge.

So, it’s okay for me to do a little wild dancing and run downstairs and shout, ‘We are Number One Today!!!!’ Even it is just a teeny-wheeny-chart-position, it’s sure fun to have a number one for the first time in my life. :)

Blue Django.

‘Mom’s Taxi’ is featured on my debut album ‘Eric Sawyer’ (to buy, click here)
