My old band and I, in search of members

It’s been ten days since I got the news that my old band decided they’d be going on without me.

I might never have known of their current plans if it had not been for the fact that they placed an advert for a new singer on the same internet site where I’ve been placing my own adverts, for a new band.

We are looking for a male singer with the right mindset and personal quaities to complement a blues rock band consisting of a drummer, bass player and lead guitarist. We have a repertoire together of about 30 songs, and are now finetuning 5 of our own compositions as well. Your ideas and suggestions will be much appreciated, we value equality and a no-nonsense, down to earth approach. We have roadtested a couple of gigs and are ready to make an impact on the blues scene. We are influenced by ZZ Top, Joe Bonamassa, Neil Young, and a range of traditional blues musicians, we like unusual good-sounding blues rock songs with rhythm and energy. There is a lot of experience in our band, you will be enjoying the company of 3 blokes who have hit or are about to hit the half-century mark.
