After spending a year, being prodded, poked, jabbed and explored by experts, I was finally given the go ahead to start jammin’ again. (That was last year) This years has been AMAZING!
Firstly, to be welcomed to the bosom of the Folk Scene @ The Music House in Norwich, was such an awesome experience and built my confidence up to the skies.
Out of that experience, I did a couple of gigs with two local legends but eventually returned to the old beat. Just me and my guitar and my harmonicas, and the blues.
Composing has been just awesome and it were as if the land itself has become my muse. She whispers and sighs, her Ooooos and Ah_______s as the season are changing, ‘rearranging, with His Summer in our eyes’. Adrian Snel.
I suspect I will be playing the occassional ‘one off’ here and there as they emerge in 2010, but for now I am basking in a year that I thought might not come to pass. God has truely been good to me. Thank you Lord. Hey, Krishnas get to thank Krishna, and Buddhists say, ‘Buddha bless you’, so let me take a breath and breath freely and say, ‘Jesus is just alright’
